Felix Pastorius - a Weather Report Black Market celebration
– The Spirit of Weather Report Lives On

Fifty years after the release of Black Market—the groundbreaking Weather Report album that first featured his father, the legendary Jaco Pastorius—Felix Pastorius brings a deeply personal celebration to Epicurus. Over a three-week engagement, he revisits and reimagines the electric energy, rhythmic sophistication, and borderless spirit that defined the fusion revolution of the 1970s.
With a sound and identity entirely his own, Felix Pastorius has earned recognition as one of today’s foremost bass innovators. A former member of the Yellowjackets (2012–2015), he has performed with an impressive roster of artists including Bobby McFerrin, Victor Wooten, Jeff Coffin, David Gilmour, Niels Lan Doky, Harvey Mason, and Bill Evans. His playing seamlessly bridges deep groove, improvisational daring, and melodic lyricism—qualities that honor the Pastorius heritage while charting new directions in modern jazz.
