A native of Toronto, Canada, Margot trained under legendary figures including Oscar Peterson, Freddy Cole, and Norman Simmons, shaping her artistry within the highest traditions of the genre. Her career has led her to stages around the world alongside artists such as Sting, Kathleen Battle, Chris Botti, and Robert Glasper, reflecting her versatility across jazz, R&B, and beyond.
As a recording artist, she has released several critically acclaimed albums, including Black Butterfly and Power Flower, as well as her latest duet project with Geoffrey Keezer.
