Purple Nights - Prince Reimagined
– When Jazz Meets the Purple Genius

A world-class ensemble of international artists come together for an electrifying homage to the genius of Prince — where jazz mastery meets the purple spirit of funk, soul, and freedom. Expect bold, virtuosic reinterpretations of classics such as Kiss, Purple Rain, and The Most Beautiful Girl in the World — all reimagined through the language of modern jazz.
Former Prince drummer, David “Fingers” Haynes is featured in an extraordinary lineup that also includes rising piano star Ken Linh Doky, the breathtaking French bass virtuoso François Moutin, and the great Swedish trumpeter Peter Asplund. Together, they honor Prince’s deep connection to jazz — a music he grew up with through his musician parents and cherished lifelong, famously listening to Miles Davis’ Kind of Blue every single night for a time.
