Gala Premiere Dinner with Prince's Personal Chefs

Shelby J, who spent a decade as a vocalist with Prince's New Power Generation, returns to Epicurus - Copenhagen's high-end jazz, gastronomy, and mixology venue - bringing her iconic voice, stories, and energy to a new four-week residency [read more].
The first four nights of the residency will be paired with a very special restaurant experience: Prince's personal chefs, Ray and Juell Roberts, will join us from Minneapolis to collaborate with Epicurus head chef Xavier Fays on a Prince-inspired menu reimagined through a contemporary Epicurus lens.
Each night, Ray and Juell will share anecdotes tied to each course, drawing from their years as Prince's chefs at his homes, at Paisley Park, and at private parties and VIP events.

Ray and Juell Roberts are a husband-and-wife culinary team best known for serving as Prince’s personal chefs during the final years of his life. From 2012 to 2016, they prepared meals for the legendary artist at Paisley Park, his private residences, recording sessions, and exclusive events, becoming trusted members of his inner circle. Working closely with Prince on a daily basis, they developed a deep understanding of his tastes, routines, and creative spirit, crafting dishes that reflected both his disciplined lifestyle and his appreciation for exceptional food.
Their years alongside Prince provided a rare and intimate perspective on one of music’s most enigmatic figures. Beyond preparing meals, Ray and Juell witnessed countless moments behind the scenes at Paisley Park, sharing in the rhythm of an environment where music, creativity, and hospitality were inseparable.
